The Impact of Corporate Governance on the Financial Performance of Listed Companies: Evidence from Saudi Arabia

This study investigates the role of corporate governance regulations on financial performance within listed companies in Saudi Arabia. 120 organisations were selected from Stock Exchange, Tadawul, over a period four years between 2016 to 2019 for 565 observations. The data gathered about intendent variable board independence, size, meeting, interlocking, addition firm size and leverage as moderators. independent was Tobin’s q. result this shows that there is negative relationship interlocking one hand other hand. Other variables directorships frequency meeting shown have positive effect performance. outcome supports theoretical foundations stakeholder theory importance reducing monopoly agents (directors board) decisions company. Such reduction directors can be done through maximising number meetings accompanied by board. Also, influence will shrink while increasing slow down process taking which affect companies’
